After a successful 14-year career in the banking sector, they transitioned their eye for detail and rigorous financial planning into the world of luxury marquees.

Liam has grown the business into a premier provider known for its reliability and “above and beyond” service. Having spent a decade in the marquee industry, they understand that a marquee is more than just a structure—it’s the foundation of a milestone event. Their background in banking ensures that every project is managed with total budgetary transparency, strict timelines, and a level of risk management that gives clients complete peace of mind.

When not overseeing site builds, Liam enjoys the gym, coffee and cooking for friends and family, bringing that same love for hosting and hospitality into their personal life.

Helen Keane

Director & co-owner

Expertise: Strategic Communications, Brand Reputation & Stakeholder Engagement

Helen is the co-owner of Cobham Marquees, which she runs alongside her husband, Liam. While she remains a “silent partner” in the company’s day-to-day operations, her strategic influence is woven into the brand’s identity. Since the Ltd company’s inception, Helen has acted as a key advisor, ensuring that the same high standards of professional excellence she is known for in her primary career are reflected in every Cobham Marquees event.

A 2003 graduate of Goldsmiths, University of London, Helen has spent over two decades building a formidable reputation in the world of Pharmaceutical Public Relations. Today, she is recognized as a well-renowned name in the industry, specializing in navigating the complex communication landscapes of global healthcare.

Her background in Pharma PR brings a unique layer of sophistication to Cobham Marquees. She applies her expertise in reputation management and meticulous planning to the business’s long-term strategy, helping to position Cobham Marquees as a trusted, high-end partner for both corporate and private clients.

Peter Crow

Founder & Strategic Advisor

With over 24 years of experience in the events industry, Peter is the visionary behind Cobham Marquees. Having founded the business in 2002, they built the company from a single marquee into a leading regional provider known for its reliability and impeccable standards.

Although Peter has since passed the day-to-day mantle to the current leadership team, they remain an integral part of the business as a Founder and Strategic Advisor. Their deep-rooted knowledge of site logistics, weather-contingency planning, and client relations remains the “DNA” of how we operate today.

Having navigated every type of event—from intimate garden parties to large-scale festivals—Peter now provides high-level consultancy, ensuring the company’s original commitment to quality and “old-school” service values are never lost as the business evolves.
